Princes Trust Report on Destined for the Dole

The Princes Trust in conjunction with Qa Research has produced a very interesting, but alarming report entitled Destined for the Dole, which highlights that the younger generation have very low employment and career aspirations.

Many come from households where their parents do not work, and one in five expect to end up on benefits for the rest of their adult life.

Devon Community Foundation is trying to halt this decline by supporting groups that help children and young people in Devon. Over 57% of the groups we work with benefit children and young people. To see some the groups we have supported, go to Who We Help.
