Mike Dickson, author of ‘Please Take One Step' (towards a more generous life) and Marcelle Speller, founder of localgiving.com will be this year's keynote speakers in May

Following the success of last year's Philanthropy Forecast with speakers Tim Smit, of the Eden Project and Dame Stephanie Shirley, Ambassador for Philanthropy, we have secured two more inspiring speakers for this year's event.

Mike Dickson is the founder of the Whizz-Kidz charity and author of ‘The More you Give, the More you Get' and ‘Please Take One Step' Mike's best selling book which looks at simple steps we can all take to in everyday life towards a more generous life. The ‘Please Take One' philosophy, which has become a global movement, is that each step we take toward a more generous life will in turn make the world a better place and make us happier and more fulfilled.

Our second speaker is Marcelle Speller, who sold her successful Holiday Rentals website in 2005 and has used her fortune to recently launch www.localgiving.com to showcase and inspire on-line giving to small voluntary and community groups. Marcelle will also speak about her recent experiences as the Channel 4 Secret Millionaire in Plymouth.
