Do you know someone special that works as a volunteer and inspires you and others?

On 21st October 2010, Devon Community Foundation will be holding our exciting annual award ceremony in Exeter to highlight the outstanding achievements of volunteers across the county who work with groups supported by the Foundation.

We need your help...

We'd like you to nominate the person from a group who you think deserves special recognition for their work as a volunteer and tell us why they should receive our Volunteer of the Year Award.
Download an application form below or ring Laura on 01884 235887 or email Laura on laura@devoncf.com and send it, completed, to us by 10th September 2010.
Get the permission of the person you are putting forward.
Complete the attached application form telling us what they have done between April 2009 and March 2010 and why you are nominating them.
Our panel will make the final decision and the winners and runners up will be invited to attend the event evening on 21st October.

What then?

All entries will be shortlisted and those selected will then be read by our judges
Winners and runners up will be asked to take part in our Volunteer of the Year Film
Winners and runners up will be invited to attend an award ceremony, to be held on 21st October 2010.
