Volunteer of the Year Awards 2011

Devon Community Foundation hosted their annual Volunteer of the Year awards ceremony on Tuesday 1st November at The Great Hall, Exeter University, honouring some of the hard work and achievements of their volunteers throughout Devon.

The nominated volunteers work with local groups to help and support those less fortunate than themselves. The winners included:

Trustee of the Year, sponsored by DACVS: Andrew Charles
Rural Volunteer of the Year, sponsored by Mole Valley Farmers: Sally Anne Powell
Young Volunteer of the Year: Alex Fenn (New4You Youth Group)
Volunteer of the Year Award: Roy (Exeter Shilhay and Poltimore Trust)
