Setting up your own Named Fund with the Foundation gives you an easy and rewarding way to give back to your local community and use your giving to achieve your own charitable aims.

Working with the Foundation means we can deal cost-effectively and simply with your charitable investment in a way which is personal, tax-efficient and achieves real results.

We help you to target causes and groups close to your heart and take on all administrative tasks usually associated with running a charitable trust.  You can help decide which areas of interest or areas of Devon you'd like to support and become involved in choosing which groups receive your help.

You can choose to set up an Endowed Fund, ensuring that your gift keeps on giving every year, forever. Or you can choose us to manage your immediate grant making, helping you to reach causes and groups right at the heart of the community.

As a Fundholder, your gift will be ringfenced and invested in our portfolio which is managed by our Investment Advisors which include Coutts, Hawksmoor and Rathbones.

As a Fundholder you will receive:

• An annual Fundholder report, including financial summaries about how your money has grown, amounts available for grant making and case studies of groups your money has helped
• Invitations to Foundation events, including our Volunteer of the Year evening, giving you a chance to meet with like-minded philanthropists
• A chance to meet the groups and people you have helped

Grow An Acorn Fund

Setting up an Acorn Fund is a great way to build your Named Fund over time by making a minimum donation of £1,000 each year. You can build the Acorn in your Family Name, passing it on to other family members as part of your lasting legacy of support for people in Devon who need your help.

You can even get friends, family and colleagues to fundraise on behalf of your Acorn Fund! Once your Acorn reaches £25,000 it can begin grant making each year.
