There are over 73,000 voluntary groups across the South West who spend 720 million hours every year volunteering in their local community.

It's local volunteers who are often on the frontline in providing grassroots help where it's needed. However, many small voluntary group's miss out on funds as 85% of donations go to the top 5% of charities. 

Our grants are designed to help Devon's volunteers tackle local issues that are important to local people and provide grassroots support to those who need help most. See the Grants in Your Area.

We try to make our grant application process simple, friendly and quick, getting money to where it's needed most as fast as possible.

Every grant we make is assessed and approved by our area Grant Making Panels (made up of local people) and monitored by our Grant Making Team to ensure the money is being put to the best use. Click here to Apply for A Grant.
